Sales Team CRM – Sales CRM Software

Sales CRM

You have a CRM that is working great for your sales team.

But what happens when you need to share contacts with your partner or a small sales team? OR each member of your sales team has his/her own contacts, but you want to share email templates and other settings with your team?

The best way to organize a sales team is to use a sales team CRM. A sales team CRM will allow team members to assign tasks to each other, use the same email formats and same landing page designs. This will help you project a uniform company look. The team leader, and any team members with Administrator rights to the sales team management software, will be able to see all contacts across the team and send out correspondence to the entire contact universe when needed.

There are very few contact managers that properly address the sales team CRM model.

Infusionsoft (Keap), Salesforce, and AllClients software all have great team functionality, but each handles the team functions differently.

1. Infusionsoft Teams

Infusionsoft is a big name when it comes to marketing automation and CRMs. Their product comes packed with many features to help marketers achieve their sales goals.

Sales teams are designed to keep track of prospects and convert them into customers. The overall sales process is divided in three stages in Infusionsoft sales teams:  Sales Pipeline, Opportunities, and Sales Team Reports:

Infusionsoft Sales Pipeline:

A sales pipeline is the process which is used to convert a prospect into a buying customer. A pipeline consists of many stages of the prospect. The sales team is responsible to keep track of the pipeline and update the records as per the need and progress.

Infusionsoft Opportunities:

Opportunity records are the records attached to prospect’s contact records. At each stage of the sales pipeline, the sales team members will write notes, change the current stage, set the next action, note any specific liking or interest. This whole data set forms an opportunity record which is linked to the contact record and falls in the sales pipeline.

Infusionsoft Sales Team Reports:

Reports are a key feature for any CRM software. In Infusionsoft these reports help evaluate the efficiency of the team, forecast sales, and align future plans so all team members are on the same page. Team Reports in Infusionsoft help track sales rep activities like the number of calls she is making and how many prospects are eventually converted to customers.

Infusionsoft teams have many features and functions and along with that comes complications and confusion. When setting up a team structure in Infusionsoft, it is best to use a Certified Infusionsoft Partner to help you get things working properly.

2. Salesforce Teams

Salesforce is the most popular CRM of the world. Their team functionality has many features that help out the sales representative and the sales managers. In fact, Salesforce Teams can do just about anything you can think of.

Teams in Salesforce will let you work collaboratively on a single prospect and or customer. There are two types of the teams in Salesforce, account teams and opportunity teams.

Salesforce Account Teams:

Account teams are designed to maintain long term relationships with existing customer’s accounts. People collaborate on a single account which is already in the system. Roles in the team may include account manager, executive sponsor, sales engineer, etc.

Salesforce Opportunity Teams:

Opportunity teams, on the other hand, is a temporary group designed to close a deal. This becomes very helpful when the deal is complex or has many moving parts. Perhaps the person trying to close the deal is not a subject matter expert and needs external support. This team may have roles like project manager, support agent, executive sponsor, etc.

Salesforce is the #1 CRM on the planet. It is best used for complex sales teams with lots of moving parts. Once you have your team structure set up in Salesforce, even the most involved sale can be easily managed.

3. AllClients Teams

Every company has a different idea as to how to set up a Team. With AllClients you have the most flexibility to set up your team exactly how you want to. You may want a team member with essentially the same access and permissions that the team leader has. Or Team members with very limited access to the system. Or something in between.

Teams in AllClients allow a small group of users to work together sharing some aspects of the system as a group and then having some of their own individual Settings. A team can be as small as two in the case of a close partnership or a husband and wife team, or it can be as large as 15 team members or even more.

You can configure your team many different ways to give each team member individual rights and individual access.Maybe you don’t want to give John the ability to delete contacts. With AllClients, that’s no problem.

Here are the Team Member Options in AllClients:

The Account Owner:

The Account Owner is the team leader and has full control of all aspects of the team and the system. The Account Owner owns his entire database and pays for the monthly subscription. There is only one Account Owner on the team.A

The System Administrator:

The System Administrator can do everything the Account Owner can except cancel the system subscription or change any of the subscription billing options. Administrators share the Account Owner’s Contacts and Deals. There can be multiple Administrators on a team.

The Team Player:

A Team Player has limited access to the system and shares contacts and deals with the Team Leader. A Team Player will not have a lot of flexibility to change system settings

The Independent User:

An Idependent User also has limited access to the system, but this team member has a bit more flexibility and has his own Contacts and Deals.

The Power User:

The Power User manages her own Contacts and Deals and has her own Advanced System Templates. A Power User can even manage other Team Members where this mini team will all work the same Contacts and Deals.

Contacts can be reassigned from one Database Sharing Group to another. Team members can share their Email and Letter Templates with the rest of the team. Tasks or To-Do’s can be assigned to different team members, and the best part is that the Account Owner or Team Leader has full control to see what each team member is up to.

With AllClients management software you get  a lot of flexibility to set up a team the way you want to. And the AllClients Team is something you can grow into. You can start out as a single user and then build your team over time.
